To be detail-orientated in their work in such a way that staff and other interns can pick-up projects when you leave

To attend meetings appropriate to the intern's work (as necessary)

To conduct an information interview with one staff member

To be trained in all Centro operating systems relevant to your internship

To experience day-to-day operations in a small, non-profit organization

To receive mentoring in the achievement of your goals

To have the opportunity to complete projects that can be used in a work portfolio for credit

To have the opportunity to network with professionals in your area of interest

Requirements

A 3-month (quarter) commitment of 12-20 hours/wk during office hours

*

Interest in other cultures

*

Good verbal and written communication skills in English

*

Excellent organizational skills

*

Professional attire and attitude
