Centro Latino’s Youth Services provides opportunities that encourage youth to experience new things, take risks, interact with others, and develop self-esteem. Our goal is to provide youth with the foundation necessary to be well rounded, contributing adults of the future.

The Latino Student Support Program (LSSP) is year-round and addresses the academic and social needs of youth enrolled in Pierce County middle and high schools that are seeking additional support in achieving their goals and maximizing their success.
Open to all students regardless of ethnicity; the LSSP focuses to provide students with opportunities that allow them to participate in positive activities, goal setting, academic success, and planning for their futures. |

Services include the following:
- Tutoring and homework assistance
- Study Skill development including organization, note taking, time management, and test preparation.
- Goal development including individual plans that addresses education, employment, and personal goals.
- Information for graduation requirements and enrollment requirements of post-secondary institutions.
- Post-secondary education exploration including assistance with application and financial aid processes. Organizing of campus visits, scholarship resources, and preparation for testing on (PSAT, ACT, SAT).
- Opportunities to participate in community and agency events that develop leadership skills and acquire service-learning hours.
- Promote awareness and appreciation of the diversity of the Pierce County community.
